Assalamu Alaikum,
Noor Orphans Fund is organising a charity collection day for Iraqi orphans on Saturday the 28th March 2009. We urgently need brothers / sisters as volunteers to help out on the day.
Volunteers will be required to go as pairs to an allocated tube station and help collect funds and distribute leaflets to the general public.
Volunteers have the option of helping out from 9.30am to 6.30 or taking a shift from either 9.30am to 1pm or 1pm to 6.30.
The tube stations will be in either zones 1 or 2.
In advance, volunteers will be debriefed and prepared for the day.
Volunteers will be gathered at a certain meeting point on the day before they all go out to the different station, and at the end of the day or at the end of each shift (depending), they would all be required to return to the same meeting point.
Refreshments will be available at the meeting point.
