Quranic Verses

2:219 – “They ask you about intoxicants and games of chance. Say: In both of them there is a great sin and means of profit for men, and their sin is greater than their profit. And they ask you as to what they should spend. Say: What you can spare. Thus does God make clear to you the communications that you may ponder.”

Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, lords and patrons other than God."
[Qur'an 3:64]

We have enjoined man concerning his parents - his mother carries him in her womb while suffering weakness upon weakness and then weans him for two years - That's why We commanded him: "Give thanks to Me and to your parents, and keep in mind that, to Me is your final goal.
(31:14)

"...O my Lord! grant me that I may be grateful for Your favors which You have bestowed upon me and upon both my parents and that I may work righteousness such as You may approve; and be gracious to me in my progeny. Truly I have turned to You and truly I am of the Muslims." (Holy Quran, 46:15)

Show Us The Staright Path, (1:5)

39:9 – “What! He who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, takes care of the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his Lord! Say: Are those who know and those who do not know alike? Only the men of understanding are mindful.”

“....and do not kill yourselves; surely God is Merciful to you. And whoever does this aggressively and unjustly, We will soon cast him into Fire; and this is easy for God.”
(Surah an-Nesa 4:29-30)

"…and do good (to others); surely Allah loves the doers of good". (2:195)

4:26 – “God desires to make clear (the way of felicity) to you, and to guide you in the ways of those before you, and to turn to you (mercifully), and God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.”

When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.

7:204

If thou bring them not a revelation, they say: "Why hast thou not got it together?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord: this is (nothing but) lights from your Lord, and Guidance, and mercy, for any who have faith."

7:203

24:38
That Allah may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace: for Allah doth provide for those whom He will, without measure.

So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith.

al-Qur'an 30:60

‘Whosoever chooses to follow guidance, follows it for his own good; whosoever goes astray, goes astray to his own loss.’
(al-Isra’ 17: 15)

‘Whosoever holds fast to God, he has been guided onto the Straight Path.’
(al-Imran 3: 101)

‘Turn not your cheek away from people in scorn and pride, and walk not on earth haughtily; for God does not love anyone who acts proudly and boastfully. Be modest in your bearing and lower your voice; for the ugliest sound is the donkey’s braying.’
(Luqman 31: 18-19)

And stay in your houses and do not display your finery like the displaying of the ignorance of yore; and keep up prayer, and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! and to purify you a (thorough) purifying. 33:33

And say: The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished; surely falsehood is a vanishing (thing).
[Shakir 17:81]

Among His signs are the night and the day and the sun and the moon. Adore not the sun nor the moon; but adore Allah who has created them. (41:37)

O you who believe! Do not forbid the good things which Allah has made lawful for you. (5:87)
